Lealer M. Brantley
On Thursday, December 22, 2022, Lealer Mae Walker-Brantley, First Lady, Loving Mother, Grandmother and Sister quietly and peacefully transitioned from her earthly life to her eternal home. Lealer was born September 22, 1941 to the late Henry Walker Sr. and Annie Bell Andrews Walker-Williams in the Johnsonville Community in Evergreen, Alabama.
Her memories will live on through her loving and devoted children, Felicia (Luvon) Stallworth of Pensacola, FL, James (Margie) Brantley, Reneda (Bruce) Rudolph, Jimmie (Jennifer) Brantley, all of Evergreen, AL, Dennis Brantley of Montgomery, AL, Lealer Ann (Petro) Jones of Atlanta, GA, Jeffrey (Shandra) Brantley, Joseph Brantley, both of Pensacola, FL and Timothy Brantley of Evergreen, AL; a granddaughter whom she reared, Kimberly R. Brantley (Mark) Mack; two loving siblings, Annie Jewel Walker (Andrew) Durley of Evergreen, AL and James (Juanita) Walker of Miami, FL; Jack and Steve Woodcock and David Walker, who are like sons to her and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her love of sixty-three years, Bishop Joe. N. Brantley; two brothers, Henry Walker Jr. and Willie Dee Walker; four sisters, Nannie B. Bell, Lola B. Samuels, Janie Mae Walker and Bertha Mae Walker-Williams.
Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a flower, if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts your thoughtfulness is deeply appreciated and will always be remembered.
