Mr. Jeremy L. Knight
Jeremy Lamar Knight was born on June 29, 1988 to the late Joette Night and Elcano Ellis in Pensacola, Florida. Aiding in his upbringing was an aunt, the late Dorothy Ann Davis.
He attended and was a 2007 graduate of T.R. Miller High School. After high school he attended Jefferson Davis Community College and later had gainful employment with Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, Alabama. He worked at Holman for six years, after which he gained employment with Weyerhaeuser Company in Castleberry, Alabama.
On Tuesday, November 21, 2017 Jeremy’s life on earth came to an abrupt end. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joette Knight; his “like” mother and aunt, Dorothy Ann Davis, grandfather, Charles Knight; uncle, Charles Knight Jr. and aunt, Mattie L. Crook.
Jeremy’s smile was contagious and his love for his son was evident. He enjoyed basketball, music and was a diehard Alabama Crimson Tide fan.
Jeremy leaves cherished memories with his son and fiancée Jayden Lamar Knight and Dashonda Moniek Stallworth, both of Brewton, Alabama; his beloved sister, Charletha Shonell Ikner of Brewton, AL; brother Charles Donell Ikner; father, Elcano Ellis; step-son, Sedrick Rudolph Jr.; uncles, Milton Knight, Ronnie Knight, Herbert Woods Jr., Anthony Woods and Marcus Woods, all of Brewton, AL; an aunt, Genevolyn Crawford of Montgomery, AL and a host of other relatives and friends.
