Mr. Michael B. Jackson
Michael B. Jackson was born to Michael R. Jackson and Lois Britt on January 14, 1970 in Idabel, Oklahoma. Heaven opened her door for him on January 7, 2018. Preceding him in death was his sister, Latoya Britt.
He was educated at Idabel Gray High School in Idabel, Oklahoma. He furthered his education at Reid Technical College in Evergreen, Alabama.
He started his Christian work at an early age and continued as a faithful member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Evergreen, Alabama until his death. He was Sunday School Clerk, Assistant Sunday School Teacher (Adult), sang in the Combine Choir, and the Male Chorus.
He was married to Joice D. Perkins. To this union, Shemkia C. Jackson was born. He loved cooking, singing, and doing hair.
He leaves to cherish his many memories, his daughter, Shemkia C. Jackson of Evergreen, Alabama; father, Michael (Marie) Jackson, Evergreen, Alabama; mother, Lois Britt of Idabel, Oklahoma; grandmother, Rosa (Joseph) Anderson of Tehachapi, California; sisters: Felicia (Marlon) Rockins, Kimberly (Andre) Ibrahim of Sherman, Texas, Kisha Britt of Idabel, Oklahoma, Marla (Michael) Shaw of Andalusia, Alabama, Christy (Antonia) Anthony of Columbus, Georgia, Tiffany (Charles) Jordan of Banning, California; brothers: Cordell Britt of Commerce, Texas, La’Quenton Britt of Sherman, Texas, Larry Merrills Jr. of Evergreen, Alabama; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and many love ones and friends.
