Mrs. Rhonda F. Riley
Rhonda Faye Riley was born on March 3, 1955 to Mr. and Mrs. Johnny and Darnareen Reed in Birmingham, Alabama. She gained her Heavenly wings on July 7, 2020.
Accepting Christ as her Lord and Savior, at an early age, Rhonda was baptized by Reverend S.C. Tucker and became a member of Belleville Missionary Baptist Church.
Rhonda began her education at Nichburg Jr. High School. She and her family relocated to Jersey City, New Jersey where she completed her high school education at Lincoln High School.
She met and fell in love with her childhood sweetheart, Orlando Riley. They were united in Holy Matrimony and were blessed with two children, Orlando Jr. and Kimberley.
When the time was right she gained employment with National Retail Transportation and worked diligently from 1996 until 2012; at which time she retired. After retirement Orlando and Rhonda relocated to Brewton, Alabama. She enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends.
Cherished memories of Rhonda “Ray” is left with a loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Orlando Riley of Brewton, AL and two children, Orlando Jr. (Tanisha) Riley of Rahway, NJ and Kimberley (Janard) Jackson of Rahway, NJ and one step-daughter, Angela Bradley of New York. She also leaves cherished memories to four loved and adored grandchildren, Jalil Jackson, Kayla Riley, Drew Riley, Jordin Jackson, Dhyani Bradley and Azharia Bradley; her siblings, Shirley Ann Tait of Belleville, AL, Johnny Mae Remar of Belleville, AL, Arlene (Alan) Battle of Belleville, AL, Kenneth (Mary) Reed, Roosevelt (Barbara) Reed, Shacrea (Daniel) Glenn of New Jersey and Terry Reed of Belleville, AL; sister-in-law, Claudia (Floyd) Williams of Pensacola, FL, Lamar (Zelle) Sanders of Mobile, AL and Dennis Riley of Brewton, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother and father, Johnny and Dornareen Reed.
I wanted to let you know that I think of Mrs. Riley often, she and your family havs been in my thoughts and prayers. I was so grateful to have had an opportunity to be a part of her journey. She is missed.
