Ms. Cynthia R. Elliott
Cynthia Rene’ Elliott, age 55, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 22, 2019. She was born to Ruthie Elliott and the late Freddrick Elliott of Evergreen, Alabama.
In 1981 Cynthia graduated from Evergreen High School in Evergreen, Alabama. Shortly after she began working in the community; during this time, she also enrolled into the Nursing Program at Ed Reid State Technical College graduating with a degree as a Nursing Assistant. Through the years she worked as a caregiver in her community.
Cynthia was a person who loved people and loved the company of people. She was well-known and most memorable for her beautiful smile and humbling personality. She had many friends of which she loved dearly. She spent a lot of her time helping people as she saw the need. Her passion was a love for baking desserts. She also loved her children and her family very much. Above all, she loved the Lord.
Cynthia was a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a faithful choir member and kitchen ministry.
She leaves behind one daughter, Candice Nicole Brundidge of Troy, AL and two sons, Sedrick Dewayne (Delicia) Elliott of Montgomery, AL and Jeremiah Deonte’ Howard of Pensacola, FL. She also leaves her mother, Ruthie Mae Elliott of Evergreen, AL; two sisters, Phyllis Floyd of Evergreen, AL and Catherine Ruthledge of Prichard, AL; three brothers, Claude (Mattie) Elliott of Evergreen, AL, Henry (Ola) Elliott of Evergreen, AL and Joseph Elliott of Atlanta, GA; those who she loved as daughters, Tomeka Floyd, Jniyah Rankins “her Sunshine”, Ronshay Price and Marhia McReed; a special god-sister, Pastor Tonya R. (Floyd) Cogburn of Montgomery, AL; devoted friends, Thomas Howard of Evergreen, AL, Minister Rose Robbins of Evergreen, AL, Sandra Mims for California and Maxine Braxton of Evergreen, AL and other beloved relatives and many special friends.
We the family of Cynthia Rene’ Elliott wish to express our appreciation and sincere thanks for your prayers and all expressions of kindness and comfort shown to us during our period of bereavement. Special thank you is extended to the staff of Southern Care Hospice, Evergreen Medical Center, Baptist South UAB Women and Infant Center, and two special nurses, Sandra Larkin and Holly Martin. We thank God for placing each of you in our lives.
