Ms. Sadie Mitchell Clack
Mother Sadie Ruth Mitchell Clack was born April 14, 1926, in Evergreen, Alabama to the late Mr. Jesse Mitchell and Mrs. Sarah Banks Mitchell. She was one of two children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Clack; one sister, Rutellia Mitchell; one son, James Morris Clack and one grandson, Jeremiah Philon.
Mother Clack moved to Houston, Texas as a young girl to live with her grandparents. As an adult, she moved to Pensacola, Florida and took a job at the Navy Base. This is where she met her husband, Navy man Robert E Clack. The couple moved to Reidsville, North Carolina where they were blessed with seven children. After the death of her husband, Mother Clack completely devoted her life to her two greatest loves, God and her children. It was also after the death of her husband that she moved to Brewton, Alabama to be near her mother and raise her children.
Mother Clack joined the Prayer House Church of God and Christ (Christ Kingdom Ministry Center) in 1980. She was a devoted member until the time of her death. She was also a very loyal contributor to the Feed-A-Child Organization, where she received a certificate of accomplishment for 20 years of service.
She is survived by a devoted son and caregiver, Robert L. Clack of Brewton, AL; daughter, Robin Green (Calvin) of Brewton, AL; daughter, Roslyn Philon (T.C.) of Silas, AL; daughter Mary Bailey (Ollie) of Brewton, AL and son, Douglas Clack (Cynthia Rena) of Atmore, AL. She also leaves behind a number of cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, great nieces and friends.
The Family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for your love, prayers, and all other acts of concerns that you have shown during this most difficult time of our lives. We will never forget all that you have done and will be forever grateful.
