Roderick Duran Dennis "Hot Rod"
Roderick Duran Dennis, better known to friends and family as “Hot Rod”, was born in Monroeville, Alabama on July 8, 1981, to Ruby Nell Dennis and the late Henry Lee Dennis. Roderick departed this life on October 22, 2022.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Ruby Nell Dennis of Evergreen, Alabama, two daughters, Aa’Meeyah Dennis of Columbia, Tennessee and Rydasia Dennis of Vrendenberg, Alabama, two brothers, Henry “Lee” Dennis (Bessie) and Sederick Dennis, both of Evergreen, Alabama, 9 aunts, Gloria Simpson, Daisy Murphy Dukes, Johnnie Mae Murphy, and Margaret Murphy all of Evergreen, Alabama, Mary Ann (McKinley) Watson, Brenda L. Dennis, both of Repton, Alabama, Queenetta (Charles) Banks of Bloomington, IL, Hattie Mae (Dan) Peters of Castleberry, AL, and Jessie Mae (Melvin) Armstrong of Repton, AL, a special friend, Lady Bird Finklea of Vrendenberg, Alabama, two nieces, Rihanna Dennis of Evergreen, AL, and Taraji Peters of Greenville, Alabama, 3 nephews, Cornelius Dennis, Jaleel Dennis of Evergreen, Alabama, and Quentin Branch of Bayonne, New Jersey, a devoted friend, Rick Hamilton and many other relatives and friends.
